Colour - Intense deep crimson red.
Nose - Powerful Cabernet nose showing the intense eucalypt characters of the Langhorne Creek area. This fruit intensity supported by well integrated oak.
Palate - Medium bodied with exceptional fruit intensity, rich flavour integrated with oak.
This wine will certainly develop more complexity with bottle age.
2004 JOHN’S BLEND – CABERNET SAUVIGNON – No.31
Colour – Deep red with some purple hues.
Nose – Very complex, showing powerful Langhorne Creek eucalypt and French oak development.
Palate – Full bodied and displaying chocolate and eucalypt flavours. Soft, rich with firm yet fine tannin structure. This wine will bottle age very well for at least 10-12 years.
2003 JOHN’S BLEND – CABERNET SAUVIGNON – No.30
Colour – Deep Red.
Nose – Rich, powerful eucalypt/mint showing complex oak development.
Palate – Full bodied, rich, flavoursome and soft. Displaying typical Langhorne Creek fruit generosity. Will certainly benefit with extended bottling age – say 8 years plus.
2002 JOHN’S BLEND – CABERNET SAUVIGNON – No.29
Colour – Intense red with some purple hues.
Nose – Powerful eucalypt/mint. A rich intense nose with complex oak. Palate – A full bodied wine with intense flavour. Rich and soft palate, it will certainly benefit with extended bottling age – say 10 years plus.
2001 JOHN’S BLEND – CABERNET SAUVIGNON – No.28
Deep red, with powerful complex eucalypt/chocolate nose.
Intensely flavoured, complex and full bodied, displaying typical Langhorne Creek eucalypt/mint characters with well-balanced oak flavour completing the fine tannin structure.
This wine will continue to benefit with further bottle maturation - excess of 10 years to peak.
2000 JOHN’S BLEND – CABERNET SAUVIGNON - No.27
Deep red colour with powerful chocolate/eucalypt nose.
A rich full flavoursome palate showing classic Langhorne Creek eucalypt/mint with fine tannins, balance with vanillin oak overtones.
While very approachable now, this wine will certainly benefit from further bottle maturation - 10 years to peak.
1999 JOHN’S BLEND – CABERNET SAUVIGNON - No.26
Intense Red / purple in colour with a very powerful eucalypt / mint nose. Rich and youthful palate. A full bodied red with firm tannins, a very long, lingering flavour of oak combined with the classic Langhorne Creek eucalypt and mint. At present quite tight and will certainly benefit from extended bottled maturation - 15 years plus.
